About Me

My name is Albert, I am the creator/owner of this website and the works that you see. I am sharing my work at the request of my friends. I've been drawing most of my life and began painting around Ninth grade (my preferred medium was acrylic).  A few of my works won awards during my High School years. I did not go to an Art School after high school. Instead, I attended bible school in Ypsilanti, Michigan. (God called me to preach in 1986). In the early nineties I met my wife. After dating a few years we married. We have three adult sons and three grandchildren.  I became a pastor in 2008. I've been a bi-vocational pastor my whole time in the ministry and remain that way today. I really didn't do much during these years art-wise (husband, father, employee and pastor didn't leave much room for art!) but in 2019 I became interested in oil painting. Covid came in 2020 and I decided to try watercolor because I could do that on the couch and with fewer supplies. I made the switch to watercolor and I have been learning ever since. Each work has something to say and I will say something about each of them. Enjoy the journey and to God be the Glory!
